A salad with cabbage and an apple should be remembered by everyone who attended kindergarten and elementary school. He was a favorite of all children and remains so to this day. It is prepared from the simplest products, while it contains a lot of useful vitamins, very tasty, and also inexpensive - just a real find. I like the fact that it is also universal, because you can season the salad with salt and pepper or sugar - whoever likes what, to taste. My son loves the sweet version, my husband and I love it with salt, and you choose yours.
Ingredients:
White cabbage - 200 g
Sweet and sour apple - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Sour cream 15% (or natural yogurt) - 2-3 tbsp.
Parsley - for decoration
Salt (or sugar) - to taste
Pepper - optional
Preparation:
1. To prepare the salad, prepare the foods on the list. Wash and dry the vegetables and apple. Sour cream can be replaced with your favorite natural yogurt without additives.
2. Chop the cabbage into thin strips. Young is soft, juicy and crunchy, if you use the old one, you need to wrinkle it slightly with your hands to make it softer. Place the chopped cabbage in a convenient deep bowl.
3. Peel the carrots, cut into thin slices. The easiest way to do this is with a special vegetable grater. Add it to the cabbage.
4. Peel the apple (by the way, you can leave it), also cut it into convenient slices or grate it, add it to a plate with vegetables.
5. Season the salad with sour cream or natural yogurt, add pepper, salt (or sugar) to taste (who loves what).
6. Gently mix the salad so that all the ingredients are well covered with sour cream.
7. Arrange in portions, garnish with a sprig of parsley and serve.
Parsley can be added to a salad, it will make it more aromatic, and without it it will taste softer, so here, too, according to your desire and taste.
