A juicy and delicious salad of tuna, cucumber and eggs can be served not only on weekdays, but also on the festive table, it is easy to prepare and does not require heat treatment. For its preparation, canned fish in oil is used, best of all - its pulp, as well as fresh vegetables and boiled chicken eggs. For dressing, purchase sour cream of any fat content or mayonnaise, do not forget to add fresh herbs and spices.

The shelf life of the dish is 1 day, but because of the fishy aroma, it is best to cover the container with the salad with cling film so that other products in the refrigerator do not drag this smell over themselves. The salad can be served with a glass of chilled white wine for dinner or as a snack.

Ingredients:

Tuna in oil (canned pulp) - 1 pc.

Large fresh cucumber - 1 pc.

Boiled chicken eggs - 2 pcs.

Sour cream or mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions - 0.5 bunch

Preparation:

1. Rinse fresh cucumber in water, cut off the tails. Cut vertically in half and cut into half rings, send the slices into a deep container. If you are using small vegetables, then take 2-3 pcs. For late varieties of cucumbers, remove the dense peel and seeds, cut only the flesh, tasting it so that it does not taste bitter.

2. Boil and chill chicken eggs in advance. Peel them, rinse in water and cut into medium cubes. Instead of chicken eggs, you can use quail, replacing 1 chicken egg with 3 quail eggs. Add the slices to the bowl with the cucumbers.

3. Open the canned tuna in oil. Buy pulp, not pieces. Drain the oil - you can use it to make soups or other dishes, and put the fish in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. If you nevertheless purchased the tuna in pieces, then flavor them with a fork or pusher.

4. Rinse and chop green onion feathers or fresh dill / parsley - whatever spicy seasonal herbs you have in your kitchen. Add to container.

5. Put sour cream of any fat content or mayonnaise, salt and pepper the dish. Be sure to taste the fish pulp and, if it is salty, then reduce the amount of salt added. Gently mix the entire contents of the bowl together.

Put the prepared salad immediately in bowls, salad bowls or on a dish, until the cucumbers have released the juice. Serve with slices of white or rye bread, a glass of wine, or sprinkle with lemon juice if you wish.
