The classic cottage cheese appetizer with garlic and herbs is easy to prepare, and you can use it not only in as a spread on bread or crunchy croutons, with it you can make savory dumplings, pies, pies and many snacks. I really like to wrap a little of this curd paste in a slice of salted red fish, stuff tomatoes or cucumbers with it, and add small balls to vegetable salads. Ingredients:
Fat-free cottage cheese - 200 g
Garlic - 1 clove
Natural yogurt - 1 tbsp. l.
Parsley - 2 sprigs
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Preparation:
1. Prepare foods on the list. It is advisable to buy cottage cheese on the market, if there is no such possibility, then a factory of good quality and a trusted manufacturer will do. Peel the garlic, wash it together with the herbs under running water, pat dry with paper towels.
2. Transfer the curd to a deep bowl and rub until smooth. The easiest way to do this is with a fine-toothed fork or mashed potatoes. You can also rub it through a fine sieve, then the consistency of the finished snack will turn out even more tender.
3. Pass the garlic through a press, add to the cottage cheese. By the way, you can take another amount of garlic, if you like it - add more.
4. Take your favorite greens. Dill, parsley, cilantro, red or green basil behave very well in a curd snack with garlic. Remove the leaves from the stems, chop finely with a knife, add to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
5. Now salt and pepper the cottage cheese to taste, add a little of your favorite natural yogurt without additives.
6. Stir the curd paste until smooth, taste it. If everything suits you, cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate until completely cooled.
Serve well chilled curd mass with garlic and herbs with fresh bread, croutons or bread sticks.
