If you are tired of the familiar and everyday dishes that are repeated every day, it's time to add a bright accent and change something. Today I propose to make an incredibly tasty and easy-to-prepare rice casserole with minced meat in the oven. It's so easy to cook that everyone can handle it. The result is amazing - regular rice and minced meat create a great tandem, and the brown cheese crust on top makes the dish presentable in appearance. Believe me, even having served such a casserole on the festive table, you will not find an indifferent person who will refuse a portion, or maybe not just one, because it turns out very, very tasty!

Ingredients:

Long rice - 1 cup

Water - 1.5 cups

Tomatoes - 4 pcs.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Turkey fillet or minced meat - 300 g

Garlic - 1 clove

Salt, pepper - to taste

Hard cheese - 80 g

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Description:

1. Prepare foods according to the list. The turkey can be replaced with any other meat of your choice. I prefer to make minced meat myself, I advise you to do the same.

2. Rinse the turkey fillet and blot with paper towels, then cut absolutely randomly. Put the pieces of meat in the bowl of a kitchen blender or mince.

3. Pulse the turkey into minced meat.

4. Peel and rinse the onion head. Crumble into small pieces.

5. Take the minced meat out of the blender bowl, fill the container with chopped tomato slices, and throw a clove or two of garlic there.

6. Chop the vegetables again with pulsating movements.

7. Boil rice on the stove in a saucepan. The amount indicated in the recipe will require 1.5 cups of water.

8. Fry minced meat and sliced ​​onions in a pan. In the process of frying, break up the meat pieces with a fork or spatula. Mix the minced meat and rice.

9. Add the garlic and tomato puree from the blender bowl. Add salt, pepper and other spices to taste. Stir well.

10. Fill the mold with the prepared mixture, top with cheese grated on a fine grater.

11. Bake the rice casserole at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

12. Then serve it to the table with pickles, fresh vegetables, herbs.
