I love this recipe because the preparation for cooking takes a few minutes, you just have to wait for lunch or dinner. This is a real godsend for working dads and mothers, because you don't have to fiddle around and stand for hours at the stove. The tandem of chicken and potatoes is very successful. After baking, the chicken meat is always soft, and the potatoes are crumbly and very tasty due to the fact that they are cooked in the juice released from the chicken.
Ingredients:
Chicken leg - 300 g
Potatoes - 4 pcs.
White onion - 30 g
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - optional
Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
White wine vinegar - 1 tbsp.
Soy sauce (optional) - 1 tsp
Preparation:
1. Prepare foods on the list. Peel the potatoes, peel the onions and garlic from the husks, wash under running water along with the legs, dry with paper towels.
2. Fold a large piece of foil in half and line it on a baking dish. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into quarters, cut the onion into slices. Place the vegetables in a mold.
3. Lightly drizzle the potatoes with onions with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Toss, add peeled garlic cloves for flavor.
4. Sprinkle the chicken leg lightly with olive oil and wine vinegar, season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Place the chicken leg on top of the potatoes and onions, pour in a little water, cover with foil on all sides. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put the chicken and potatoes in the foil into it, bake in convection mode for 40 minutes.
6. After a while, increase the temperature to 200 degrees, remove the form from the oven, unfold the foil to brown the chicken, bake the dish for another 20 minutes. If desired, you can lightly grease the ham with soy sauce, then it will become a beautiful honey color.
7. Remove the finished dish from the oven, put it on a plate, pour the sauce over the potatoes and serve immediately.
It will be ideal to serve a salad of fresh vegetables with chicken and potatoes, it will also be delicious with pickled tomatoes, cucumbers or sauerkraut.
