Prepare such a simple and delicious version of chicken with mushrooms for a hearty dinner or lunch. I used homemade pickled mushrooms in this recipe. Store-bought canned, fresh or frozen will do. Since autumn, I have been frying forest mushrooms in vegetable oil and freezing them.
You can take cream with a lower fat content, but with 33% - a much softer taste and creamier. If you cook with sour cream, then take homemade, the store will sour and even curl up in flakes.
Chicken stewed with mushrooms in cream, serve with different side dishes: mashed potatoes, buckwheat porridge, rice, pasta. In this recipe, the Philips multicooker HD 3039 was used.
Ingredients:
Chicken fillet - 450 gr.
Bulb onions - 2 pcs.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Any mushrooms - 200 gr.
Cream 33% - 150 ml.
Vegetable oil - 50 ml.
Salt and spices to taste
Step by step recipe:
Step 1 - Prepare the required ingredients according to the list.
Step 2 - Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with a napkin. Cut into pieces of equal thickness.
Step 3 - After washing, we also cut the mushrooms into pieces of the same thickness. From pickled store - first drain the marinade.
Step 4 - Cut the peeled onions into half rings. Peel the garlic, chop it in any convenient way: finely chop it with a knife or squeeze it through a garlic press.
Step 5 - Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, lay the chicken. We turn on the "Baking" mode. Fry, stirring occasionally, until the fillet changes its pink color to white.
Step 6 - Next, add mushrooms, garlic and onions.
Step 7 - We continue to fry in the "Bake" mode for a couple of minutes, until the onion half rings become translucent.
Step 8 - Then pour in the cream, salt and season with spices to taste. We mix. We switch to the "Extinguishing" mode. If you are going to cook this dish with sour cream, then stir it in a little water (100 ml for 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream will be enough).
Step 9 - Cook for 25 minutes, then turn off the multicooker, because the default extinguishing mode is 1 hour.
Chicken with mushrooms in a creamy sauce is ready. We serve with any side dish to taste, we like this chicken with spaghetti more.
