Oven baked apples with honey

When autumn comes, especially its first cold days, immediately the mood switches from summer to a gloomier one. Of course, you don't want to let go of sunny days, because rainy weather will replace it. But I like the autumn season because the aroma of spices, pastries, delicious fruit tea begins to hover in the air.

Today I want to share with you a recipe for a simple and delicious dessert that often appears on our table just in the fall and winter. The taste of apples baked in the oven with honey is simply amazing, the honey aroma completely penetrates the fruits and gives them incredible sweetness. This dessert is just perfect with aromatic herbal teas.

Ingredients:

Apples - 2 pcs.

Honey - 2 tablespoons

Coconut flakes - for feeding

Description:

1. Prepare food. Apples use varieties Simirenko. Others will do, the main thing is that they are dense and hard, sweet and sour in taste. Any honey can be taken.

2. Wash fruit well and dry slightly.

3. Carefully, using a knife, cut off the tops of the apples. Set them aside for now, do not throw them away.

4. Use a small spoon to scoop out the seed core.

5. Pour a tablespoon of honey into each apple cask.

6. Cover apples with tops. In parallel, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

7. Transfer the blanks to a baking sheet and send to bake. The process will take 12-15 minutes. Remove the finished kegs from the oven.

8. When serving, you can add nut crumbs to the apples, after grinding the nuts in a coffee grinder, or you can sprinkle with coconut, add raisins.
