Sausages in batter are a great alternative to sausages in batter. This dish is perfect for a quick snack. It takes no more than 30 minutes to cook it.
Initially, batter is created from quite simple and affordable products, after which small sausages are dipped into it. The final process is frying the blanks in oil.
The basic composition of the batter, if desired, can be supplemented with various spices, giving the dish a piquant aroma and pungency. After cooking sausages in batter are served with sour cream, ketchup or other sauces of your choice.
Ingredients:
Sausages - 300 gr.
Egg - 1 pc.
Flour - 200 gr.
Milk - 100 ml.
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1.5 tablespoons
Slaked soda - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil - 100 ml.
Turmeric - 1 tsp
How to cook:
1. Pour the specified amount of flour into a deep bowl. To make the breading more tender, sift the flour through a special sieve. Add all the bulk ingredients: sugar, salt and soda (extinguish it with 1 teaspoon table vinegar or lemon juice). Stir the mixture thoroughly.
2. Break an egg into a separate container, pour milk into it. Whisk vigorously until smooth.
3. Pour the liquid mass into the dry mixture, stirring in parallel with a fork. Then beat the contents of the bowl with an immersion blender into a thick dough. Set it aside for 30 minutes, covering the container with cling film. Check the batter for density - dip a spoon in it, if the mixture evenly enveloped it, then the correct proportions are observed.
4. Add salt, turmeric, optionally ground black pepper.
5. Prepare sausages - peel off the top film. Pierce each of them with a wooden skewer from one edge.
6. Then dip them one by one into the cooked breading so that it envelops them on all sides.
7. Place a frying pan with a large portion of oil on the hotplate in parallel. After heating, place the workpieces inside and fry them over medium heat on all sides. Flip from side to side during frying so that they cook evenly.
8. Transfer the sausages to a paper towel to absorb the excess oil, then transfer to a serving dish, top with the sauce.
