It is very easy to cook vegetable stew with meat if you have such a device as a slow cooker as your helpers. It is necessary to spend quite a bit of time to bookmark products and you will be guaranteed a delicious lunch / dinner.

To such basic stew vegetables as potatoes, carrots, onions and tomatoes, I added zucchini and bell peppers today. The dish can be prepared by combining different vegetables to your liking, such as replacing courgettes and peppers with pumpkin or cabbage. Today I have a stew with pork, if you cook it with chicken or beef, the stewing time will change and will be 30 minutes if you use chicken meat and 1 hour for beef.

In this recipe, I used a Philips HD 3039 multicooker with a power of 960 watts.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 400 gr.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Pork - 350 gr.

Vegetable oil - 60 ml.

Zucchini - 400 gr.

Sweet pepper - 1 pc.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Tomatoes - 2 pcs.

Salt and spices to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - We prepare the necessary products according to the list.

Step 2 - Rinse the meat, dry it with a paper towel. Cut into small pieces of the same size or into large strips.

Step 3 - Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and spread the pork next. We turn on the “Baking” mode (heating on it is more uniform and the heating temperature is lower than in the “Frying” mode). We close the lid, cook, stirring occasionally.

Step 4 - While the meat is fried, peel the onions, rinse and chop. Cut off the skin of the vegetable marrow, remove the seeds, cut the pulp into cubes. When the first 10 minutes of frying the meat pieces have passed, put the onion and zucchini slices into the bowl, mix. Fry for another 5 minutes.

Step 5 - Next, add the peeled, diced carrots and diced peppers (previously peeled from partitions and seeds) to the bowl. We continue to fry vegetables with meat in this mode for another 5 minutes.

Step 6 - Then add the sliced ​​potatoes and tomatoes. Pour water, salt.

Step 7 - Season with spices to taste. You can get by with just a bay leaf. I took the shop's Meat Spice Kit, which includes turmeric and tarragon, and added a couple of fresh basil leaves.

Step 8 - Shuffle. We close the lid and switch to the "Extinguishing" mode. By default, the program cooks for 1 hour.

Step 9 - After 40-45 minutes, turn off the equipment.

Vegetable stew with meat in a slow cooker is ready. We serve hot. Sprinkle with herbs when serving.
