Baked turkey fillet with apples and tangerines for New Year's table

I suggest you try a delicious New Year's hot turkey - baked poultry fillet in a whole piece. We will not bake the turkey just like that, but in a spicy marinade, thanks to which the meat will turn out to be incredibly juicy and tender. I also advise you to include apples and tangerines in the composition of the products of this dish - fruits will give the meat only pleasant notes, believe me, the result will be gorgeous.

You can serve the turkey to the table on a beautiful cutting board, cutting it into large pieces. In addition to meat, it is worth serving sauce and other various side dishes, vegetable cuts, pickles, however, I think there will be plenty of snacks on the New Year's table, so in this matter, be guided by your menu. So, I propose to get down to business as soon as possible.

Ingredients:

Turkey fillet - 1.7 kg

Apples and tangerines - to taste

For the marinade:

Soy sauce - 70 ml

Honey - 1 tablespoon

Bulb onions - 0.5 pcs.

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Sweet mustard - 1 tbsp

Spices to taste

Salt, pepper - to taste

Thyme - 3-4 branches

Dry garlic - 1 tsp

Process description:

1. Prepare all foods. Rinse and dry the meat.

2. Peel the tangerines. In my version, the variety "clementine" is used, its seedless fruits are sweet and juicy, and during baking they will burst and give the turkey a very pleasant taste. You can take 4-5 pieces.

3. Peel the apples from the seed box, cut into slices. A few pieces will be enough.

4. Prepare the marinade. Peel the onion, rinse and dry. Crumble into small cubes and place in a bowl.

5. Add sweet mustard, butter, soy sauce, all the spices and honey to the onion. Stir the marinade and remove the sample, adjust the taste if necessary.

6. Prepare a heat resistant mold. Grease it with butter and transfer the turkey piece.

7. Grease the fillet with marinade, pour the rest into the mold.

8. Place tangerine and apple slices on and around the meat. Add thyme sprigs here.

9. Seal the form with foil, move it to the hot oven. Bake the meat for one hour, after a while remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes.

10. Serve the prepared baked turkey to the New Year's table.
