The recipe is, perhaps, from a ladies' or children's diet, as well as for supporters of a raw food diet (both from the "raw" and from the "cheese" menu :)). Cooking and other thermal treatments are not assumed, all products are crushed in their original, that is, natural form.

A large portion of salad with raw carrots and cheese is an alternative to lunch or dinner, in addition, it is fully suitable as a vegetable side dish for meat and poultry.

Ingredients:

Carrots - 2 pcs.

Hard cheese - 70 g

Apple - 1 pc.

Garlic - 1 tooth

Lemon juice - 1 tsp l.

Mayonnaise - 30 g

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Greens - for serving

When planning to make a raw carrot salad with cheese and garlic at home, take the foods on the list. If possible, give preference to young root crops. The juicier, sweeter and denser the carrot, the tastier the dish itself.

Be sure to add an apple, even an unsightly one, not the most fragrant - the appetizer will get additional moisture and freshness in any case.

First of all, wash the carrots, remove the thin top layer and then with three large shavings. You can use a Korean carrot grater: the straws will come out thinner and longer. Do not try to purée, leave it to crunch.

Next, add apple shavings of the same caliber. So that the hard skin does not spoil the impression, we first peel the apple. Immediately sprinkle with lemon juice and stir, do not let the apple pulp darken.

For this snack, the cheese is very different: solid, semi-hard, pickled, soft, moldy, harsh, moderate or sweetish dessert. Everything is at your discretion. By changing the variety of this product, each time you get an updated version of the dish.

Grind hard cheese on a cheese grater. Cheese, Mozzarella can be easily broken into small fragments, and curd cheese, feta, with blue mold can be crumbled. If you crush the cheese smaller, it will better combine with the dressing and cover the carrot and apple with a delicious enveloping layer.

Shake all the layers again.

Season with chopped garlic (don't like it, exclude), salt, ground hot pepper and a portion mayonnaise (replaced with sour cream, unsweetened yogurt).

Serve salad with raw carrots and cheese, garnished with a branch of herbs, immediately after dressing, that is, as fresh as possible.
