In a microwave oven, you can not only reheat already cooled dishes, but also create new ones. The list of dishes that can be cooked in a microwave oven is quite extensive - from absolutely light to complex. Today we cook ordinary pasta in the microwave. The advantage of such cooking is that much less time is spent. The result is ordinary pasta, no worse than those that are cooked on the stove. And to make the taste richer, you can add various spices, cheeses, herbs and so on to them.
This recipe can be taught to children who still do not know how to use an electric or gas stove, but already easily cope with a microwave.
Ingredients:
Pasta (durum wheat) - 200 gr.
Water - 400 ml.
Salt - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil - 30 ml.
Butter - 50 gr.
Hard cheese - 150 gr.
Parsley - bunch
Ground pepper - to taste
How to cook:
To microwave macaroni and cheese, prepare all the food you need.
Sort the pasta carefully so that it does not contain various garbage. Place them in a glass or other microwave safe container. Pour in the specified amount of hot water, stir immediately.
Pour in the rate of vegetable oil. It will help the pasta not stick together during cooking.
Next, add rock salt, stir vigorously so that its grains dissolve as much as possible in the liquid base. The amount of salt can be adjusted based on personal preferences.
Cover the container with pasta with a glass lid, put in the microwave. Set maximum power. If your oven has about 850 watts, then the cooking time will be 7 minutes. With a lower microwave power, the cooking period will increase to 10 minutes.
After a while, stir the already swollen pasta without taking them out, let stand for 2 minutes, closing the microwave oven door.
Then transfer them to a sieve, rinse with warm water. Leave in this state for a while to allow the glass to excess liquid.
Return the pasta to the glass container or place in a baking dish, add a piece of butter to it. Stir to distribute it evenly.
Grate hard cheese on top. Spread the shavings all over the dish.
Place the container in the microwave for 5 minutes.
After removing the mold from the oven, you will see the cheese completely melt and envelop the pasta.
Serve the dish hot, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Although, after cooling, the cheese forms a dense crust, which is also very tasty.
