Today we will prepare the famous American dessert - brownie. This is a real find for chocolate lovers. The combination of cherries with dark chocolate has already become a classic, but cottage cheese is not a very popular ingredient in this cake.
For me, the taste of chocolate brownie with cottage cheese and cherries was a real discovery. The curd filling gave the dessert a more juicy and delicate texture.
Ingredients for the dough:
Oil - 180 grams
Dark chocolate - 180 grams
Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
Wheat flour - 200 grams.
Baking powder - 2 tsp
Sugar - 150 grams
For filling:
Cottage cheese - 350 grams
Sugar - 120 grams
Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
Additionally:
Pitted cherries - 400 grams
Vegetable oil for the form - 1 tsp.
Course of action:
Prepare a set of products. You can take more granulated sugar if you use dark chocolate. You can use cane sugar instead of white.
For the dough, combine the sugar and eggs in the bowl of a food processor. Beat the ingredients until the mass increases in volume and the sugar dissolves.
Break the chocolate bars and melt together with the butter. The safest way is a water bath. An easier option is to do this with a microwave.
Add the chocolate mixture in portions to the egg-sugar mass, continuing to beat.
The resulting chocolate mass should be smooth, shiny, without lumps and inclusions.
Combine flour with baking powder and sift through a sieve into the chocolate mixture.
Knead the chocolate dough.
For the filling, mix cottage cheese, sugar and eggs. Cottage cheese can be preliminarily wiped through a sieve so that the filling is more uniform and tender.
If vanilla extract is available, it can also be added to the filling.
Defrost frozen cherries, put in a colander and drain off the liquid.
Grease the form where the cake will be baked. Distribute a third of the chocolate dough, half the cherry and half the curd filling. Then - again a piece of chocolate dough, berries and the remaining cottage cheese. Finish filling out the form with the remaining chocolate dough.
I used too large a container (20x30) and did not calculate with the last chocolate layer. I advise you to take a smaller form. But keep in mind that the baked goods rise well, so the sides should be quite high.
Put the dish with the semi-finished product in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake the brownie for about one hour. Willingness to check with a splinter.
Cut the pie into portioned squares before serving.
Serve chilled cottage cheese and cherry brownies with a scoop of ice cream.
Sprinkle with icing sugar on top if desired.
Enjoy a delicious, mega-chocolate dessert!
