When creating a cake, you will definitely know their composition and will be able to independently adjust the taste you want. Chocolate sweets are considered the most delicious; they can be prepared both with the addition of natural chocolate and with cocoa powder.

Today we will cook quite famous cakes with the interesting name “Potato”. In appearance, they strongly resemble this root vegetable, and therefore the name is. The recipe for this delicacy is very simple - you don't need to bake anything, you just need to mix all the ingredients here.

The presented cake has many different recipes, where the composition of the ingredients is different. According to the proposed version, “Potato” is prepared on the basis of condensed milk and shortbread cookies.

Ingredients:

Shortbread cookies - 150 gr.

Condensed milk - 80 gr.

Butter - 50 gr.

Cocoa powder - 3 tablespoons

Powdered sugar - 1 tablespoon

To make the "Potato" cake from cookies with condensed milk at home, take the products from the list.

Break shortbread cookies into random pieces, put in a blender bowl, crush into small crumbs. For this, it is still permissible to use a rolling pin. You can grind cookies in a mortar.

Immediately pour about one tablespoon of the resulting crumb into a separate bowl, it will come in handy in the final stages of preparation for dusting. The same goes for cocoa powder - add one tablespoon.

Pour the condensed milk into a saucepan or enamel bowl, set on fire. After heating, add a piece of butter. It is better to use something that has already melted a little so as not to melt it for a long time.

The mixture does not need to be brought to a boil. This process can also be done in a microwave oven.

Then add cocoa powder in small portions (2 tablespoons), stir in parallel to avoid the appearance of lumps.

Keep the composition on the stove, setting the heat to minimum, stir constantly. As soon as the mass begins to reach the bubbling stage, remove the container from the heat, and do not stop stirring for the next 3 minutes in order to bring the mixture to the maximum consistency.

Pour the cookie crumbs into a deep plate, pour the hot chocolate solution into it. After thorough mixing, you should have a thick, sticky mass.

To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands while sculpting cakes, put it in the refrigerator for half an hour to harden. In this case, be sure to cover the container with the contents with cling film, it will protect against foreign odors.

In a bowl, combine the cookie chips and cocoa powder that you left behind. Stir until smooth.

After a while, take out the dough and start sculpting the products, forming small oblong-shaped blanks, which in appearance will resemble potatoes. Roll each "potato" on all sides in the cooked breading, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
