Ingredients:

Chicken liver - 550 g

Flour - 2 tablespoons

Semolina (or couscous) - 2 tablespoons

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Onions - 50 g

Sea salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Lean oil for frying

To make chicken liver fritters, prepare the foods listed. Wash the offal under running water, dry it, clean it from films, vessels and excess fat. Instead of semolina, you can take semolina or couscous - as you like, their function in the recipe is the same.

Fold the clean, dry and peeled liver into a blender and punch until smooth. In this case, small pieces should not be left, it will be superfluous.

Transfer the liver homogeneous mass into a deep bowl, add flour and semolina to it.

Then add onion, chopped into small cubes, a medium-sized raw chicken egg, salt, ground black pepper and a teaspoon of baking powder.

Stir everything until smooth so that there are no lumps, and leave for 10-15 minutes, you need to let the semolina swell. After a time, when the cereal has increased in volume, and bubbles begin to appear on the surface, you can start preparing the pancakes.

Preheat a large skillet, lightly grease it with lean, unscented refined oil, put in full a heaped tablespoon of liver dough and cook the pancakes over medium heat for two minutes each sides. They fry very quickly, so keep them in the pan for a long time and do not need to dry out.
