Filling for pies with cabbage and egg

Admin

It just so happened that one of the most favorite fillings for pies or pies is cabbage. Be it fried, baked or steamed pies, it is nevertheless unrivaled. One of the most budgetary and simple options for toppings, besides, very often cabbage pies are cooked in fasting.

Today I will slightly dilute the simple cabbage filling with boiled chicken eggs and green onions. Pies with it will turn out to be more satisfying and tasty.

Put the finished cabbage with vegetables in a bowl, add eggs, season with salt, pepper and add finely chopped green onions, mix. Add those that you like from the lean and spices. I would suggest adding a couple pinches of ground coriander and some curry powder. Sweet paprika or dried bell peppers are also good options. But do not get too carried away with a set of spices, so as not to kill the cabbage. If you add, then just a little bit to just slightly shade the taste.

The cabbage filling with eggs for the pies is ready. Be sure to cool it before using it for its intended purpose.

Bon appetit, lucky and delicious pies!

In conclusion, I will say that this recipe for cabbage filling for pies is one in a thousand.

The filling is often prepared from sauerkraut. It happens that it is mixed with fresh, by the way, I really like this option. Instead of eggs, you can add bacon or sausages - this is how satisfying and tasty pies are obtained. Very often, not boiled eggs are added to the filling for pies, but raw ones, it also comes out very well.

Another favorite way to make the filling is to stew the cabbage with prunes and pumpkin pieces. This is delicious!

There is another interesting option, in my opinion: the cabbage is first chopped finely, then it is blanched in boiling water for several minutes and only after that it is stewed with fried onions and carrots.

Try my recipe, I'm sure it won't disappoint you!
