Recently, more and more often we hear a new word for us - "pancakes". Although, in fact, we are familiar with this dish since childhood. This is a cross between our classic pancakes and pancakes. They are slightly smaller than pancakes in shape, but lush like pancakes. And there is another characteristic difference - they are fried in a completely dry frying pan without oil.
I propose not a classic recipe for pancakes, but an option with kefir with the addition of butter and baking powder. It turns out the most delicate, delicious, fragrant pancakes, which are generously poured, ideally with maple syrup, for me - with honey.
Lush pancakes with fresh berries, fruits and aromatic tea are served. This is how Americans usually eat breakfast.

Ingredients:
Kefir - 300 ml.
Sugar - 1.5 tbsp.
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Wheat flour - 150 gr.
A pinch of salt.
Vanillin - 1 pinch.
Butter - 2 tablespoons
Baking powder - 1 tsp.
Step by step recipe:
To make pancakes on kefir, we need a small set of products that can be found almost every housewife, and you can safely prepare a delicious breakfast for your household for 15 minutes.
So, pour kefir into a ladle and heat it to a temperature of 35-40 degrees. You can do this in the microwave. Melt the butter. Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Whisk the egg, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. If you don't like vanillin, then don't add it.
Pour in warm kefir and beat well. The mass should become fluffy and uniform.
Add melted butter that has cooled to a warm state and stir again. By the way, it can be replaced with vegetable (it will take about 2 tablespoons).
Pour in the pre-sifted: flour, salt and baking powder.
Stir thoroughly until smooth so that the dough is free of lumps.
Now, if you have time, you can cover the bowl with a clean towel or cling film and let the mixture “rest” for 15 minutes at room temperature. If you are in a hurry, then we bake pancakes right away, there will be no big difference in taste.
With a ladle, pour the dough into a pre-heated frying pan, level and fry over medium heat until the surface of the pancake is covered with bubbles. This process takes about 2-3 minutes.
Gently turn the pancake over with a spatula and fry for about 1 minute.
We put pancakes on a dish in a pile.
We pour them with honey or syrup, decorate with fruits / berries and brew a fragrant tea. We invite everyone to the table for a delicious and hearty breakfast!

If you choose between the classic version pancakes with milk and the above presented, on kefir, then I, of course, tend to kefir. They turn out to be perfect: soft, delicate and aromatic, and in the company with honey or syrup - just magical! These pancakes are also deliciously combined with salted caramel. I am sure that lovers of such taste preferences in this presentation will like them.
Of course, this breakfast is not for every day, since calories and sugar are off scale, but I think you can pamper yourself and your family for the weekend! And above all, cook with love!
