Cooking chicken soup in a slow cooker will not present any difficulties even for a novice cook. Everything is easy and fast! The multicooker, as always, simplifies the cooking process. Soup is prepared from the simplest and most affordable products, it turns out hearty and delicious, and therefore it is one of those dishes that brighten up weekdays perfectly.

Instead of chicken fillet, you can use other parts of the chicken. Add cereals for satiety. Millet in this recipe can be replaced with rice or buckwheat, then you will get a new, no less tasty soup.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 500 gr.

Chicken fillet - 450 gr.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Water - 1700 ml.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml.

Millet groats - 0.5 stb.

Salt and fresh herbs to taste

We prepare the necessary ingredients. I used refined vegetable oil, you can replace it with lard.

We start by making vegetable frying. We also peel and wash the onion with carrots. Chop the onion. Three carrots on a grater.

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. We turn on the "Baking" mode. In this mode, the time is always the same, we cannot change it, so we just turn it off when needed and go to another.

The first 3-4 minutes after heating the bowl, we fry the vegetables, not forgetting to stir, until the onion is translucent.

Cut the chicken fillet in parallel. If you took a thigh or lower leg, lay them whole, cut the wings at the joint.

We send the chicken to the bowl. Continue frying with the vegetables for another 3-4 minutes, until the meat turns white.

We pour water. Keeping it hot will speed up the cooking process by 10-15 minutes. Turn off the "Baking" mode and set "Soup / Boil" for 20 minutes.

We prepare potatoes: clean, wash, chop. We sort out the groats from small debris and rinse them under running water. We send potatoes to a slow cooker. Salt to taste.

After the beep, lay the cereal. We taste the finished soup with salt. Let cool slightly.

We add fresh herbs either to a freshly prepared dish, or already to plates when serving.

The fragrant chicken soup is ready. Pour into plates and serve with any bread, donuts or croutons.
