Oven baked beef with potatoes is an appetizing second course that can satisfy the whole family. The advantage of this recipe is that you cook the side dish and meat at the same time, and this significantly saves time and effort.
To make the dish juicier, onions must be added, spices are used for the aroma. The meat can be pre-fried in a pan, but for a more dietary option, raw pieces of beef are placed in the mold. Thus, the process of frying meat in oil is omitted, which makes the dish more useful. When baking, no water is added, the ingredients themselves will secrete juice, in which they will then languish. For juiciness and softness, potatoes are greased with mayonnaise, if desired, it can be replaced with sour cream.

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 800 gr.
Beef tenderloin - 300 gr.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Mayonnaise (sour cream) - 100 gr.
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Ground garlic - 0.5 tsp
Ground paprika - a pinch
A mixture of Provencal herbs - 0.5 tsp
Salt, pepper - to taste
Greens - for decoration
How to cook:

Prepare food.

Wash the beef under running water, wipe the moisture with a paper towel. Next, cut the meat into plates of approximately the same size. Hit each one with a kitchen hammer.

Prepare the baking dish: brush with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. Place the beaten meat on the bottom. Sprinkle it on top with salt, pepper, herbs and garlic.

Separate the onion head from the top film, rinse the vegetable and chop into thin slices in the form of strips or half rings. Top with the onion slices of the beef.

Peel the potato tubers, wash thoroughly, and then chop into round slices. Too large specimens can be cut in two.
