More often, pork, chicken or beef schnitzel is cooked on an overhead stove fire: fried in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil or other fat. Today I propose an option with baking in the oven. We act according to the classical principle: we beat the meat fillet to a lesser thickness, breaded in three layers and then send it to the hot oven.

The crust can also be charred and dried to the desired degree, crispy or soft. Pork schnitzel in the oven is an excellent main dish for self-serving with pickles and sauces, for sandwiches, as well as for any side dish.

Ingredients:

Pork - 400 g

Egg - 1 pc.

Flour - 2 tbsp. l.

Breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp l.

Vegetable oil - 40 ml

Salt, black pepper - to taste

To cook pork schnitzel in the oven, take the food listed. Defrost the meat beforehand, if required. Better to bake fresh. For a bright shade of the shell / crust, add ground paprika, curry, turmeric to the bread crumbs.

Divide the semi-finished meat product in portions: beat off to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. The fibers will become softer, more tender, and the workpiece itself will stretch over the area.

Sprinkle with standard seasoning - salt and black or red hot pepper - on both sides. Flavor with dry garlic if desired.

After the spices, we transfer the layers to a plate with flour and sprinkle them thickly and thickly on both sides. Cover with a thin but continuous flour layer. Shake off excess flour.

Shake the egg in a spacious bowl (you can pour in a spoon or two of water or milk). Mix the yolk with the protein until smooth. We dip the meat layer powdered with flour into the egg mixture, turn it so that it is completely moistened. Raise, let the excess liquid drain.

Breaded wet meat cakes in chopped bread crumbs. Still no spaces, on either side.

Cover the baking sheet or form with parchment, generously grease with lean refined oil (otherwise the crust of the schnitzels will stick). We put the meat pieces in one layer, spaciously, without bending. Sprinkle with vegetable oil on top and send it to a hot oven. We bake for about 25 minutes at 200 degrees.

We serve pork schnitzels both hot, only from the oven, and chilled.
