It is easy to cork such berry jam without cooking in separate containers or jars with nylon lids, but you need to store the workpiece only in a cool place: a refrigerator or a cellar, since it can ferment. The approximate ratio of berries and sugar is 1: 1, but if you do not store in the refrigerator, then it is better to increase the amount of granulated sugar to 2.
You can use a food processor, hand blender, or shredder for chopping. It is permissible to simply grind the berries with a regular table fork. When using the technique, you will get a more homogeneous mass, when chopping with a fork - just crushed currants.

How to cook:
Berries can be used fresh or frozen, however, in the second, the amount of vitamins and sweets will be slightly lower.
Sort out the currants, removing twigs and leaves, pour into a deep container: a bowl or salad bowl, a saucepan. Fill with cold water and rinse, removing ponytails, rotten specimens. Drain and sprinkle the berries onto paper towels or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Transfer the currants to the chopper bowl or deep bowl.
Add the same amount of granulated sugar. Many people replace it with honey of any kind - you can do the same if you or your loved ones are not allergic to this product.
Grind everything for 4-5 minutes using the pulsating mode, or grind the whole mass with a fork for 8-10 minutes. It is not necessary to grind longer, so as not to kill the small bones in the berries.
Make sure that berry juice is not splashed around - black currant stains are difficult to remove from the work surface and fabrics!
Prepare dry, clean containers or jars. Put all the currant mass in them, cover with sugar on top, creating a sweet "pillow". Cap immediately and store.
