In today's article I will talk about three ways to delicately and politely hint to late guests that it is time to go home. Of course, in life, such situations are very rare and in the overwhelming majority of cases, personally, on the contrary, I ask the guests going home to stay. But there are exceptions to every rule and sometimes the tips below can come in handy.

1. One of the most reliable ways is cleaning the table. When your guests see you emptying the table, they will understand that the feast ends, and it's time to go home. You can strengthen this technique by starting to wash the dishes or cleaning the room. One hundred percent option would be to start vacuuming, but this is already an extreme measure :)

2. Collect the present and give it to the guests. As a gift, you can send salads in a container, cape or fish, fruits, whatever, personally, I usually send a dessert. The presented gift will be

a good occasion to remind guests to wrap up. And of course, send nice food gifts just like that, especially if the guests have children waiting for them at home. This is a good rule of thumb for hospitality.

3. Another tricky trick would be "get busy". You can say that tomorrow you need to get up early or that today you need to have time to see something else at work. Also, you can start checking mail, making a phone call, or starting to sort through work-related papers. This will be a polite sign that you are no longer up to the guests and it's time to end the feast. If you liked the article - put your thumbs up!
