Pork - 250 g

Medium potatoes - 2 pcs.

Water - 2 l

How to cook:

Prepare all the food you need. Peel the potatoes, onions and carrots. Wash the root vegetables under running water along with herbs and pork.

Pour one and a half liters of water into a saucepan. Cut the pork into convenient chunks. Place the meat in a saucepan. When the water boils, collect all the foam from the surface, add chopped onions.

Boil the broth over medium heat for 30 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked. During this time, onion slices will give up their aroma and almost completely boil down, which is especially good for people who cannot stand boiled onions.

Next, load coarsely chopped vegetables into the broth: carrots and potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes. If you are not afraid of extra calories, then the carrots can be grated and lightly fried.

Cut the petioled celery into thin slices and add to the soup. Wash the rice very thoroughly, changing the water often so that the broth does not become cloudy later. Send the cereal and celery into the pot. Cook the soup for another 10 minutes.

Add the required amount of water. After boiling, salt and pepper the dish to taste, add finely chopped fresh herbs. Turn off the stove immediately and cover the pot with a lid. Let the ready-made soup brew for 10 minutes - during this time all the tastes will mix, and the rice will come to readiness.

Pour the prepared rice soup into bowls and serve the family for lunch.

This first course should not be cooked for several days, as boiled rice swells a lot and absorbs a lot of liquid. Therefore, always prepare pork rice soup for just one family meal.
