Potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker

If you need to cook a hearty lunch or dinner, and your kitchen has a wonderful helper technician, stew delicious potatoes with minced meat in a slow cooker. Thanks to this unit, the potato pieces are soft and juicy in taste. To prepare the dish, you will need two modes: "Frying" and "Stewing". Some multicooker does not have the first function, in this case use the Baking program.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 400 g

Carrots - 100 g

Onions - 150 g

Minced meat - 300 g

Garlic - 15 g

Vegetable oil - 50 g

Bay leaf - 1 pc.

Dried vegetables - 15 g

Parsley - 15 g

Water - 150 ml

Step by step recipe:

Prepare all the ingredients for the potato stew. Buy minced meat from any meat. It is permissible to mix several varieties. Minced meat can be bought ready-made or cooked on your own. Instead of parsley, use dill or green onions if you like.

Remove the onion skins. Rinse the onion and cut into small random pieces. Peel the carrots. Rinse and pat dry with a tissue. Grate on a coarse grater.

Pour oil into the bowl. Set the "Fry" mode. Stir with a silicone spatula and fry the vegetables for 4-5 minutes. The temperature is set automatically according to your model.

When the carrots and onions are slightly tender, add the minced meat. Mash immediately with a spatula so that there are no large lumps of meat. Continue cooking in the same mode for 3-5 minutes for the minced meat to change color.

Peel and rinse potato tubers. Cut into small pieces. Add to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Stir. Cook for about five minutes.

Pour in chopped black pepper, salt, dried vegetables, bay leaf to taste. Pour in boiled water. Stir. Cover tightly with a lid and set the "Stew" mode for 30 minutes. If the multicooker is not powerful, it will take 40-60 minutes to cook the potatoes.

Peel the garlic cloves. Cut into small cubes. After the beep, remove the cover. Spread the garlic over the surface of the potato. Remove the bay leaf. Cover and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
