Strawberry jam "Pyatiminutka" allows you to maximally preserve the integrity of the berries, the natural taste, and also leave most of the vitamins, thanks to short-term heat treatment. The amount of granulated sugar and berries in the recipe is equal, this makes the syrup more concentrated, and a significant portion of the sweetener ensures reliable preservation of the preparation.

Ingredients:
Strawberries - 1 kg.
Sugar - 1 kg.
Citric acid - a pinch
How to cook:
Sort the strawberries before use, sifting out crumpled or spoiled berries.
Place it in a large container to avoid wrinkling. Rinse by draining the water 2-3 times. You can also leave the berries in water for a couple of minutes so that soil / dirt particles settle to the bottom.
You should not tear off the sepals during washing, otherwise the strawberries will start to let juice into the water.
Transfer the berries to a sieve, leave them in such a state for a short time so that the glass will have excess liquid.
Transfer the strawberries to a deep bowl, preferably not metal, to prevent oxidation.
Cover generously with granulated sugar (preferably in layers). You don't need to stir, just shake the bowl occasionally to distribute the sugar to all the berries.
In this state, strawberries should stand for 3-5 hours. The berry will come into contact with the sugar grains and let the juice out.
Next, put the strawberries with the juice into a saucepan, set on an overhead fire. After boiling, a lot of foam will appear on the surface, which should be removed. Boil the jam for exactly 5 minutes without lowering the heat.
After removing from the stove, add a pinch of citric acid to it, stir.
Prepare the container for storage in advance - clean with soda, wash, dry completely.
Pour the hot jam just removed from the stove into the jars. Eliminate possible air bubbles in the container. Seal tightly with a lid (screw or tin) using a special wrench.
Chill strawberry jam under a warm blanket. After about a day, send the blank to the pantry.
Pyatiminutka strawberry jam is ready. Be sure to save a small portion of the treat to taste with a cup tea.
