Mannik is a frequent guest at our table. After all, this kind of pies are a kind of lifesaver. They cook quickly, the products are affordable, and you don't need any special skills: mixed all the ingredients, poured them into a mold and sent them to the oven. But, despite the simplicity of this process, semolina-based pies always turn out chic. They have a delicate, velvety texture, mouth-watering golden sides and divine aroma. Hardly anyone will refuse a piece of such a delicacy, especially little gourmets and true connoisseurs of sweets.
There are many recipes for making semolina pie, but today I want to offer one of the most successful, in my opinion, options - manna on kefir without flour. Due to the absence of a flour ingredient, it turns out to be more airy, light and tender, but at the same time it is perfectly cut and does not crumble.
Try it out!

Ingredients:
Semolina - 1 glass
Kefir - 1 glass
Sugar - ½ cup
Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Butter - for lubricating the mold
Step by step recipe:
Prepare products according to the recipe list, an ovenproof dish with a diameter of 18 cm, parchment paper and a 200 ml measuring cup.
Pour kefir into a suitable bowl and add semolina.
Mix thoroughly and leave at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
As for the fermented milk product, it should not be cold, so we will take it out of the refrigerator in advance or immediately before cooking, heat it in the microwave to a warm state.
After the specified time, the cereal will absorb all the moisture and noticeably swell.
Combine eggs and granulated sugar separately. Using a mixer, beat the mass until smooth, it is desirable that some of the crystals have time to dissolve. Then transfer the egg-sugar mixture to the swollen semolina.
Mix gently so as not to destroy air bubbles.
Turn on the oven 180 degrees and prepare the mold. Cover the bottom with parchment, and grease the sides generously with butter. Transfer and flatten the dough.
Let's send the form with semolina pie to the prepared oven for 35-40 minutes. Manna should be baked until a beautiful golden color.
To be sure of readiness, baked goods should be pierced in the center with a wooden skewer before being taken out. If it remains dry, the cake is completely baked.
Transfer gently to the wire rack and let cool completely.
That's all. The most delicate, fluffy, crumbly and very tasty manna, mixed with kefir without adding flour, can be served on the table.
Before serving, cut the pie into portions and brew a cup of fragrant tea.
Bon Appetit!
