Ingredients:
Dumplings - 300 g
Salt - 3 pinches
Ground black pepper - 3 pinches
Vegetable oil - 0.5 tsp
Butter - for serving
Water - 1 tbsp.
Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
How to cook:
Prepare food.
Preheat the oven to 220-240 degrees. Pour vegetable oil into a pot, add bay leaves. Next, place frozen dumplings in it. Stir to coat each one with oil. This is also necessary so that the semi-finished products do not stick together.
Pour in salt, ground black pepper and pour boiling water over everything. Stir gently, cover the pot and place in the oven. Since the pot has already become hot from the water, it can be safely placed in a preheated oven.
Cook the dish for about 20-25 minutes, depending on the selected temperature and dough thickness. Large dumplings will cook a little longer, small ones - less time. It is advisable to substitute some form under the pot so that the liquid does not spill over its edges during cooking.
After the indicated time, remove the pot from the oven using an oven mitt or towel. Open the lid very carefully to avoid scalding from the steam. If you do not need broth, then discard the boiled products in a colander and drain the liquid.
Place the dumplings in a deep bowl, pour in the broth, or serve without it. Sprinkle with ground black pepper, season with butter and start your meal. Hot dumplings with mayonnaise, sour cream and vinegar.
