Duck with apples is a favorite dish in every family. Probably not a single family celebration is complete without this tasty and aromatic treat. For lunch, of course, no one will cook a whole duck, but legs with apples will cook much faster and easier. Today we will bake them.
Ingredients:
- Duck legs - 2 pcs.
- Apple - 300 g
- Bulb onions - 1 pc.
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- White wine vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Maple syrup (honey) - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Ch.m. pepper - taste
- Garlic (optional) - 1 clove
- Seasoning for poultry - 1 tsp
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Peel the onion, wash it with apples and duck legs under running water.
Place the legs in a convenient deep container.
Pour in soy sauce, wine vinegar, and maple syrup or runny honey. Add salt, pepper to taste, and seasoning for poultry. The latter must be powdered, dry herbs will burn out for a long time in the oven and the finished dish will taste bitter.
Roll the legs well in the marinade, leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Personally, I really like to add more garlic, preferably dry granulated. The dish with it turns out to be very aromatic and tasty.
Cut the onion into small slices and place on the bottom of a baking dish. It will not only give the legs an additional taste and aroma, so they will not float in the fat released during cooking. Place the duck on top of the onion.
Send the mold to preheated 180 degrees for 60 minutes. From time to time, use a silicone brush to lubricate the skin with the remaining marinade. If the duck starts to blush too actively, then cover the form with foil.
After a while, remove the legs from the oven, line them on all sides with apple slices and send them back for another 30 minutes.
Put the finished duck on a dish on which you will serve it to the guests. Place baked apple slices on all sides and serve. Delicious.
