Ingredients:
Blueberries - 1 kg.
Sugar - 1 kg.
Step by step recipe:
To cook Pyatiminutka blueberry jam for the winter, prepare the necessary ingredients.
Place the blueberries in cool water so that twigs and other debris float to the surface. Repeat this procedure several times.
Then put the berry on a sieve, pour over running water. Let the liquid drain completely. At the same time, revise the berries, throwing away the spoiled specimens to avoid fermentation of the workpiece.
Transfer the blueberries to a deep container, cover with sugar in full.
Stir the mixture with a spoon, set aside for 1 hour, the berry should release juice. If you are using ripe and soft blueberries, then this time will be enough for them to drain a lot of juice.
During this period, stir the berry mass several times with a spoon - so there will be more juice.
Now transfer the entire mixture to a saucepan or saucepan, set over an overhead heat. After boiling, a large amount of foam will appear on the surface of the berry mass, which must be removed with a slotted spoon.
Cook the jam for exactly 5 minutes over high heat. Under the influence of high temperature, it will instantly begin to thicken. Some of the berries will remain intact, the rest, together with the juice, form a thick mass. In the process, stir the jam with a wooden spoon.
Prepare storage containers in advance. Use small jars so that you can use the uncorked jam several times later. Sterilize jars and lids in any way convenient for you.
Put the hot blueberry mixture just removed from the heat into dry containers using a ladle. Remove any small air bubbles from the top with a spoon.
Tighten the jars with lids, wrap them with a warm blanket for a day, until the glass cools completely.
Blueberry jam for the winter is ready.
