A juicy and tasty dish in a multicooker is easy to prepare even without the presence of meat products, such as stewed cabbage with zucchini. This hot can be created in the summer season, when zucchini are so popular that they cost mere pennies, and the cabbage itself is inexpensive. Onions and carrots will help to emphasize the taste of the declared vegetables - a classic duet for many dishes. But you are free to choose spices and herbs as you wish, not forgetting about salt and ground black pepper.

To get exactly stewed, and not fried vegetables, you need to simmer in oil only onion and carrot slices, and after adding cabbage and zucchini, cook the dish already on minimal heat, so that the contents of the saucepan or cauldron steamed.

You can serve such a vegetable side dish both with baked meat and fish, or you can simply serve it with a sauce, for example, garlic.

Ingredients:

Cabbage - 0.5 fork (400 g)

Carrots - 1 pc.

Onions - 1 pc.

Zucchini - 250 g

Vegetable oil - 20 ml

Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare food.

Peel the carrots and onions, rinse thoroughly in water and cut into medium cubes. Pour vegetable oil into a cauldron or saucepan with a non-stick bottom. Heat on the stove for about 1-2 minutes and add the vegetable slices. Fry over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Rinse the zucchini, cut off the tails and cut into medium-sized cubes. Use young vegetables as they have a thinner skin and no tough seeds inside. Add to container.

Slice half a fork of white cabbage. Transfer the cabbage straws to a cauldron and salt and pepper to taste.

Thanks to the salt, the cabbage will release its juice almost immediately. Therefore, fry the entire contents of the container after mixing for about 2-3 minutes, and then reduce the heat to minimum and cover with a lid. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

After the specified time, the dish will be completely ready - its mass will be steamed and reduced in size. At this point, you can add dried ground or press peeled fresh garlic if you like spicy flavors.

Place the stewed cabbage with zucchini on plates and serve directly to the table. You can add slices to the dish of bread or croutons, sauces or dips.
