According to Dr. Myasnikov, who has been asked more than once about the benefits of such a drink, drinking such a drink is even healthier than regular black coffee. But there are still some nuances.

Is this really so?

The fact is that natural coffee contains many vitamins and antioxidants, but it also contains acids that irritate the stomach lining. For example, drinking black coffee in the morning before breakfast increases your risk of developing stomach ulcers.

The addition of milk softens the acids. Therefore, this drink is more useful for those who have problems with the gastrointestinal tract.

Another advantage is that milk weakens the effect of a strong drink on blood vessels. Thanks to this, a cappuccino, latte or just a milk-based drink does not cause such a sharp increase in pressure.

What is the danger?

It would seem that the listed benefits make coffee with milk more useful for hypertensive patients. But this drink has a problem - casein (casein glue is one of the most durable substances).

Conclusion: yes, milk can soften the effect of coffee on the digestive tract and cardiovascular system, but at the same time it inhibits the leaching of calcium from the body quite a bit. And if a person has casein intolerance, such a drink threatens with constipation, problems with blood vessels, and indigestion.

In addition, the drink can be harmful if used incorrectly: when using low-quality coffee, when replacing milk with artificial one. Excessive consumption of such a drink is also dangerous - exceeding the dosage per day can cause the development of headaches, irritability, problems with memory, concentration and attention.

But if you observe the dosage and take good care of your health, coffee with milk will only bring pleasure and benefit.
