I suggest you prepare a wonderful snack in the form of small rats for the New Year 2020 celebration. The Rat's stuffed eggs are a great treat that will definitely grab the attention of your guests.
The filling can be anything. Eggs can be stuffed with seafood, canned fish, deli meats, pates, etc. The main thing in our recipe is the serving of the appetizer itself. We will make the eyes and noses of the rats from carnations, and the ears and tails will be from crab sticks. The recipe is very simple and affordable, so be sure to take it into service.
Ingredients:
Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
Processed cheese - 80 g
Fresh cucumbers - 1 pc.
Dry garlic - 0.5 tsp
Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
Salt, pepper - to taste
Crab sticks, cloves - for decoration
Preparation:
Prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. Boil chicken eggs in advance for 8-10 minutes. Then cool them in cold water.
Peel the eggs and cut them in half. Remove yolks from each half.
Mash the yolks with a fork. Grate the melted cheese on a fine grater. Transfer the shavings to a bowl along with the yolks. By the way, it will be tastier if you take cheese with a certain flavor: mushrooms or ham, herbs.
Add a cucumber grated with small shavings there. If it is watery, be sure to squeeze out the liquid. Add some dry garlic to a bowl.
Season all ingredients with mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir all the ingredients well, remove the sample, adjust the taste.
Fill the egg whites with the cooked mass.
Decorate the rats with carnations. Cut the crab sticks into thin slices and make them ears. Next, disassemble one of the sticks into thin strips - these will be tails.
Serve a snack on the New Year's table.
Bon Appetit!
Happy New Year!
