Many of us are accustomed to starting our day with a cup of coffee, and more than one. I, as a true coffee lover, may not eat, but coffee should be drunk in the morning - this has already become a kind of ritual! There is no adherence to a ground or instant drink, but its taste must be hot, spicy, invigorating, with a light degree of roasting and not bitter. However, the taste is different for everyone, we are all different, the main thing is high-quality coffee, which helps to relieve drowsiness and charges with a positive mood for the whole day! How to choose it without falling for marketing gimmicks and cheap goods? We will talk about this with you in our review.
Of the two types of coffee - arabica and robusta - the first is the most widespread and expensive, and the cheapest "Nescafe" type drink is made from robusta.
Let's start in order.
Coffee beans
When purchasing coffee beans, be sure to pay attention to their fat content. If you pick up the beans in your hands, there is a feeling of moisture or grease on your palms, then you can safely buy such coffee - it is good!
Also pay attention to the degree of roasting: light will tell you that the taste of your drink will be saturated with light sourness, while dark, almost black, will give you a chocolate flavor and bitterness. There are four roasting levels, so you can easily find the best roast for yourself, but for this it is advisable to try them all.
By the way, be sure to be guided by the pack - it should indicate the type of coffee, the degree of roast and place of production, as well as the date.
Ground coffee
This type is more popular than coffee beans, but less sold out than instant coffee. There are three degrees of grind: coarse - for preparing a drink in espresso machines, medium - for any brewing method, fine - for creating a drink in cezvov and ordinary coffee makers.
Of course, where in our time without additives - various spices, flavors, particles of chopped chicory, barley, oats and so on can be added to the package. The cheaper the cost of a package of ground coffee, the more likely it is that about a third of the coffee itself will be in it.
Therefore, it makes no sense to save - choose a quality product, or even better - buy it in coffee shops. Establishments value their reputation, so they will not slip illiquid assets into customers!
Instant coffee
This variety is familiar to everyone who is used to enjoying a fragrant drink on the run. It would seem very convenient - I poured a packet of instant coffee into a cup or glass, poured boiling water over it and, if necessary, added sugar or cream.
Literally 2 minutes and the coffee is ready, but it will certainly lose out in aroma and taste to a stronger drink.
The most interesting thing is that this type contains 3-4 times more caffeine, so drinking several cups in a row is not recommended at all - this is too much stress on the blood vessels and the heart. At cost, an instant product can be afforded by any resident of the country, but it is best to purchase a more expensive one - it will not contain additional ingredients not indicated on the pack.
In the end, I would like to advise, in any case, not to purchase large packs of coffee: neither in beans, nor ground, nor instant - its aroma disappears after about a week. Buy it in small tight bags or packaging without any damage, so as not to lose the precious scent. Drink this popular drink and stay awake!
