Everyone knows the quote: "A good morning starts with coffee." In fact, this is so, because many cannot imagine their morning without a cup of tonic drink. Unfortunately, it does not specify what kind of coffee we are talking about - instant or ground.

We decided to tell you what is the best to drink coffee, and also learned from nutritionists and cardiologists how this drink affects the heart and liver.

Coffee and heart

Every second inhabitant of a metropolis cannot wake up normally without a cup of coffee. And during the day, many drink another 3-4 cups. Some experts continue to argue that this drink can seriously harm the heart. However, recent studies prove that the reaction to coffee is purely individual.

That is, in some people, the drink causes high blood pressure - and in this case, you do not need to drink it, especially in large quantities. And there are those who can drink it calmly, while there is no reaction from the heart.

Moreover, not so long ago, studies appeared, the results of which may surprise - according to the findings of scientists, the biologically active substances contained in the composition, on the contrary, have a positive effect on the heart and on the condition of the walls vessels. And this is an important point in terms of reducing the risk of thrombosis.

Antioxidants, which are in the composition of natural coffee, allow you to keep the wall smoother, respectively, platelet adhesion occurs less frequently, reduces the risk of atherosclerosis. And from this point of view, coffee can be called a very useful product.

But here everything is really all purely individual. There are enzymes in our body that process coffee.

If you have more of them, coffee is easily deactivated and will not have a negative effect. But if there are few of these enzymes, negative reactions will be observed when using such a drink: insomnia, palpitations, high blood pressure.

In general, if you consume the drink in moderation, which is a natural energy drink, it will tone up and have a positive effect on the brain cells.

If a person is not hypertensive, then coffee does not affect him. Well, what if a hypertensive patient? Can I use it? Cardiologists say yes, but it all depends on the quantity and quality of the drink. For example, if it is strong Turkish coffee, then it is undesirable, but if the drink is weak, you can drink it, but no more than 2-3 cups a day.

How does coffee affect the liver?

According to nutritionists, coffee has a beneficial effect on this organ. And this is proven by the results of studies conducted by American gastroenterologists. As a result, they came to the conclusion: in patients with hepatitis C (this is a serious and dangerous disease) on the background taking medications, coupled with 2-3 cups of natural coffee per day, the treatment was more productive in several time.

It was also noted that this drink reduces the risk of liver cancer by 40%.

And in general, the antioxidants contained in the composition protect all cells of our body from damage, fight free radicals - agents that damage our cells, leading to mutation.

How much coffee can you drink and which one is better?

We must not forget that this drink stimulates the excretion of minerals from the body, has a diuretic effect. Therefore, in order to preserve its beneficial properties and not harm the body, you need to consume no more than 5-6 cups a day (provided that you normally tolerate the drink).

If we compare a natural and freeze-dried product, then you should pay attention to the quality of instant coffee. If it is of high quality, natural and healthy coffee is necessarily present in it, although its concentration is lower than in ground coffee. If it is not of high quality, you can put anything instead of coffee.

But according to Rospotrebnadzor, most branded products are absolutely normal in quality. They just don't have that high concentration of caffeine. For example, a drink brewed in a Turk has about 180 mg of caffeine, and a cup of instant coffee has a maximum of 90 mg.

If your body reacts normally to a strong drink, you like its taste and aroma, but you drink coffee too often, it is better to choose a less concentrated drink.

How to make strong coffee and not stand over the stove for a long time?

Yes, many people love a drink made in a Turk. But the bottom is a moment - and the foam can pour onto the stove, and the coffee itself will go bad. There is another solution: you can take ground coffee, put a couple of spoons and boil it with boiling water - you get a natural, strong and tasty drink. In terms of quality and aroma, it will in no way be inferior to coffee brewed in a Turk.
