Sugar cake with cream will certainly delight everyone at the tea party. The finished baked goods are slightly sweet, since no sugar is added to the dough. Thanks to the impregnation, the cake is rather moist and juicy. Serve alone or with jam, jam, honey, condensed milk or sweet cream. You can knead the dough in a food processor, bread maker or by hand.
Ingredients:
For the test:
Wheat flour - 250 g.
Milk - 100 ml.
Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
Butter - 100 g.
Salt - 1 pinch.
Vanilla sugar - 10 g
Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil - 1 tsp
For sugar crumbs:
Butter - 50 g.
Sugar - 130 g
To fill:
Cream 15% - 150 ml.
Step by step recipe:
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the cake. Eggs, butter, cream and milk should be at room temperature.
Pour fast-acting yeast and a teaspoon of sugar from the total mass into a deep bowl.
Heat the milk. Pour into dry ingredients. Mix. Cover with a napkin and send to a warm place for 15-20 minutes. When using quality yeast, a yeast "cap" is formed.
Drive the eggs into a deep bowl. Beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Add softened butter, salt, vanilla sugar. Stir with a mixer until smooth.
Sift flour. Pour in about half of the serving and stir into the dough. Here you can use a spatula or again a mixer.
Pour in milk with yeast. Mix.
Add the remaining flour. Stir well with a spoon.
The dough is sticky.
Cover with cling film. Make several punctures with a toothpick and send to a warm place for 50-60 minutes.
In the meantime, you can make sugar crumbs. Pour sugar into a bowl and add cold butter. Grind until crumbs are obtained.
Cover the form with a diameter of 20 cm with parchment. If you are confident in your dishes, you can skip this. It is enough to grease with a slice of butter.
Move the dough and smooth with a spatula. Send in heat for 30 minutes.
Dip your finger in vegetable oil and make holes all over the surface of the cake.
Sprinkle with sugar crumbs. Preheat the oven. Bake for 25-35 minutes at 180 degrees.
Pour cream over the finished cake and leave to cool completely.
Transfer to a flat dish and serve with a sweet table.
Sugar cream pie is ready.
Serve fragrant tea, coffee and milk.
