Stewed pork ribs with potatoes are one of my family's favorites. Such potatoes come out especially tasty, as they are completely saturated with juices of fleshy ribs, which, in turn, are excellent, tender, the meat simply melts in the mouth.
I like to cook this dish with the addition of water, so that in the end a yushka remains, therefore, it can easily be served as the main dinner. As a supplement, add fresh vegetables or delicious homemade pickles.
Ingredients:
Pork ribs - 350 g
Young potatoes - 300 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt, pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
Description of the cooking process:
1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list.
2. Pork ribs should be fleshy. If there is too much fat on them, it is better to trim it off a little, although you can leave it - if you like. Rinse and dry the rib strip, then cut into separate pieces.
3. Use potatoes of a variety that cooks rather quickly and boils down, since thanks to this, the soup in the finished dish will turn out to be silky and thick. If the tubers are young, it is enough to wash them with a stiff brush under running cool water. Then dry and cut into small slices.
4. Warm up the frying pan well, pour in vegetable oil. Transfer dry ribs to a container and fry until golden brown. The fire should be strong, quickly fry the meat and remove the pan from the stove.
5. Prepare vegetables - peel, wash and dry carrots and onions. Cut the onion into half rings, carrots into small cubes or rings, you should not chop it.
6. Transfer the prepared ingredients to a saucepan, add salt and ground black pepper, add spices if desired. Pour water so that it covers the vegetables and meat by a third. Cover with a lid and send the pan to the fire, simmer with low heat for 30 minutes. At the end of cooking add the garlic skipped on the press.
7. Arrange the finished dish on plates and serve.
