How diverse the world of buns is - it's impossible to even imagine! What a variety of ways to form them, not to mention the fillings. Buns can be made in the form of birds, spikelets, flowers, braids, carved and in many other ways.

They look very original in the form of roses. From such buns, you can make a bouquet composition and give it, for example, for the Easter holiday, or come to visit friends or relatives for tea.

There is no need to worry when the result is obtained from the series "expected... but it worked ...", because the aromas of homemade baked goods leave few people indifferent.

Ingredients:

Ground saffron - 0.5 tbsp l.

Cream - 100 ml

Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.

Butter - 50 g

Sugar - 5 tbsp. l.

Salt - 0.5 tsp l.

Wheat flour - 500 g

Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp l.

Vanillin - 1 g.

Preparation:

Step 1: To make rose buns, you need a completely simple set of ingredients.

Step 2: Using a little hot cream, melt the butter and dissolve the granulated sugar, salt, vanillin and ground saffron in it. For further work with yeast, the resulting mixture must be at a comfortable temperature for them.

Step 3: Dissolve dry yeast in the cooled butter. Add chicken eggs and whisk thoroughly until smooth.

Step 4: Pre-sift wheat flour. Add half the volume to the liquid part, mix thoroughly.

Step 5: By adding the remaining amount of flour in parts, knead a smooth, slightly tough dough (about 10 minutes), but retaining its tenderness and elasticity. Due to many factors, flour may require a different amount: a little more or less.

Step 6: Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film, leave in a warm place for 1 - 2 hours to increase the volume by 1.5 - 2 times.

Step 7: Slightly knead the finished dough and roll out into a thin layer. Cut out circles with a special cut or the neck of a faceted glass.

Step 8: Lay out a path of circles of 5 pieces, slightly overlap each other. At the joints of the circles, you can immediately press them down safely.

Step 9: Starting from the lowest circle, roll each track into a roll, pressing in the middle like a bow that needs to be tied in the center with a string.

Step 10: Cut into two equal parts - rosebuds. This can be done in two ways: with a sharp knife, rotating the roll; with a thick thread (fishing line), making one turn, pull the ends in opposite directions.

Step 11: Put the blanks of roses on a baking sheet, lightly greased or covered with parchment.

Step 12: Cover with cling film, but so that it does not interfere with their "blooming". Leave in a warm place for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 13: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the roses until fully cooked. It will take about 20 to 30 minutes. It is better to navigate by your oven and the products themselves (a dry speck and a beautiful blush).

Step 14: Serve ready-made rose buns with tea, coffee, milk or any other milk drink.

These rose buns are fine for breakfast, but you can take them with you for a snack - on the road or for a picnic. To give them a shine, you can gently brush with whipped yolk before baking.
