I am sharing my little trick on how I cook compote. Many did not even think that this is possible.

I recently shared one of my favorite summer drinks, which I make instead of compote. If you missed it, I will leave a link at the end of the article. Many have already tried and appreciated))

How do I prepare compote

I use a variety of fruits and berries for compote. You can take fresh, dry or frozen. I love with dried fruits.

But today I will cook it from fresh ones (my youngest son likes this compote).

I haven't boiled a large pot of compote for a long time. He often stayed with me and turned sour. Once I had some fruit left. I filled them with water and... that's the only way now I cook compotes.

I take a cup. The volume can be any!

Immediately put chopped apples, peaches and plums into the cup. You can add a few mint or basil leaves (if you like).

A little sugar. BUT sugar, of course, you can not add, especially if the fruit is sweet! Here, too, to taste. I fill it all with water.

And I put it in the microwave. At maximum power (I have 700 W) I cook for 3.5-4 minutes. Depends on the size of the cup and the fruit. Frozen, of course, take a little longer to cook.

The water should just boil - and that's it! I take it out and cover it with a plate. You can drink it straight away (like fruit tea). But we like it better when the compote cools down.

My children drink such compote through a straw. But you can also serve with a spoon (for those who love fruit from compote).
