For all the seeming complexity of preparing this dish, it is actually quite simple to prepare. The potatoes are baked in the oven and completely soaked in cream. The delicate creamy finish from this dish will make you cook it over and over again.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 1 kg.
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Hard cheese - 150 gr.
- Cream - 200 ml.
- Vegetable oil - 30 gr.
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
Prepare the ingredients for cooking potatoes in English. Peel the tubers and rinse them from dirt.
Cut the peeled potatoes in half and cut each half into wedges. Rinse under running water to rinse off excess starch.
Pour boiling water over the potato wedges, bring to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes. Then drain the hot water.
While the potatoes are boiling, prepare the cheese. Grate it on a medium grater into a separate bowl.
Peel the onion. Rinse in cold water. Finely chop the peeled onion.
Prepare a baking dish. Brush it with vegetable oil and put the chopped onion on the bottom.
Then spread out half of the half-cooked potatoes. Sprinkle with a little salt, spices and half of the grated cheese to taste.
Put the remaining potatoes in a second layer and sprinkle with grated cheese too. Top with cream.
Place the dish with the contents in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for 30-40 minutes.
The finished potatoes will turn slightly golden and the cheese will melt.
Serve hot.
