Peasant-style potatoes are one of the most favorite side dishes in almost every family. It is best served with a piece of meat, especially grilled, and with various sauces. If your family is also a fan of peasant potatoes, try cooking it according to this recipe, especially since it is very simple to do it.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 8 pcs.

Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Dried garlic - 0.5 tsp

A mixture of Provencal herbs - 1 tsp

Smoked paprika - 1 tsp

Sea salt - to taste

Ch.m. pepper - taste

Preparation:

1. Prepare foods on the list. Wash the potatoes under running water with a stiff brush or kitchen sponge, dry the tubers with paper towels.

2. Cut into slices, it will look most beautiful if you cut the potatoes lengthwise into quarters. Place the potato wedges in a deep bowl, pour over the vegetable oil, and roll each slice well in it.

3. Line the baking dish with foil on the glossy sides up, put the slices in oil on it, put in an oven preheated to 190 degrees in convection mode, bake for 30-35 minutes.

4. While the potatoes are baking, mix the aromatic Provencal herbs, dried garlic, salt, pepper and smoked paprika (if not, replace with your favorite seasoning, it will be delicious with the addition of curry or turmeric).

5. We take out the finished country-style potatoes from the oven, as you can see, they are of a beautiful, ruddy color. Sprinkle it with the prepared mixture of herbs and spices and place in the oven for another 5 minutes. In no case should you sprinkle potato wedges with spices at the very beginning of cooking, in 30-40 minutes of baking in the oven, the spices will burn out and the finished dish will be very bitter.

6. That's all. Delicious peasant potatoes are ready.

Serve with your favorite sauces and any meat dish.
