Many people like simple recipes with a twist, including myself, and today I want to offer you just such an option - fried potatoes with honey. Everyone will love this dish. Just imagine, on top there will be a ruddy-spicy crust with a sweet aftertaste and aroma of garlic, and inside - tender potatoes. Everyone will ask for a supplement, it has been tested more than once!
You can take any spices here. There are ready-made sets for potatoes and different herbs - as you love and create, let your imagination run wild!
You can serve such potatoes even for a festive table, even for gatherings with friends. It is perfect as a side dish for meat, and as an appetizer for a glass of cold beer, and if you also offer ketchup / sauce, you can even lick your fingers.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 400 g
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- Butter - 30 g
- Honey - 1 tsp
- Italian herbs - 1 tbsp
- Dry garlic - 1 tsp
So, we read the list and prepare all the products. Potatoes need to be washed with a stiff brush. Then rinse well under running water.
If the potatoes are medium-sized, small, it is best to cut them in half. Large tubers can be cut into 3-4 slices.
Transfer the potatoes to a saucepan and cover with water. Send on fire. After boiling, cook for 20 minutes - until tender. Then remove the potatoes from the pan.
In a skillet with high sides, melt two types of butter, then add honey. Dissolve while stirring.
Place the potato halves in the pan. At this stage, generously cover the potatoes with spices. Then add dry garlic. Fry on all sides until golden brown and crisp.
Gorgeous, delicious potatoes with sweet notes are ready to serve.
