Each of us probably went on a diet at least once in his life and knows how difficult it is to give up the familiar and favorite foods that are on the forbidden list.

The popularity of the diet of nutritionist Pierre Ducan is due to the lack of restrictions on the number of servings, meal times and calorie content of dishes. The basis of the Ducan diet is protein components with a minimum amount of fat, and cottage cheese occupies one of the main places. Dry, fat-free cottage cheese in its pure form quickly becomes boring, and juicy tender cottage cheese casserole helps to diversify the menu and enjoy the cottage cheese dessert.

Any sweetener can be used for sweetness in the casserole. I recommend taking the natural natural sweetener erythritol, or you can do without it altogether.

Ingredients:

  • Fat-free cottage cheese - 200 grams
  • Egg - 2 pcs.
  • Corn starch - 1 tablespoon
  • Sweetener - optional
  • Flavoring - optional
  • Salt - a pinch

Course of action:

Step 1 of 9

I prepare the necessary products. Instead of corn starch, it is allowed to use ready-made mixtures for curd casseroles, which include the same corn starch and vanillin. The use of potato starch is prohibited by the rules of this diet. To fill out the form completely, I prepare a double rate of food.

To begin with, I grind the cottage cheese into a pasty mass. If you like grains of curd in a casserole, you can skip this step.

Step 3 of 9

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. I add yolks, flavor and cornstarch to the curd mass. Stir until smooth.

Beat the egg whites until firm foam with salt. Gently mix them into the curd base using a silicone spatula.

The consistency of the mass should not be liquid, it depends on the moisture content of the curd used. You can thicken it by adding additional cornstarch.

I use a silicone form for baking, since it does not require additional use of oil. I transfer the curd mixture into this container and bake it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

I bake for 45 minutes. Then I take it out of the oven and let it cool.

I serve natural low-fat yogurt with the casserole.
