An economical baking option for first courses. Without laborious kneading of dough, long-term proofing, modeling and baking, we transform ready-made purchased buns (from the bakery or bread department) with garlic and herbs. A wide assortment allows you to experiment with rye, wheat, yeast-free, all kinds of grain buns. The choice is yours. I will say that garlic can transform any, unleavened and even stale (but still usable, without mold). In the new status, garlic buns are used to replace donuts for borscht, and are also served along with tea and other drinks.

Ingredients:

Buns - 3 pcs.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml

Garlic - 3 teeth.

Greens - 70 g

Salt, hot pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make garlic buns at home, take the foods listed. From fresh herbs I have - dill, parsley and some green onions. Feel free to supplement the list with your favorite vegetation. Oil is used as neutral in aroma, refined, and fragrant, with a tough smell. If necessary, add kitchen-specific ground spices to the salt and black pepper.

Step 2 - According to this principle, buns of different configurations and sizes are stuffed with garlic and herbs. Oblong, round, baguettes - the main thing is that the products initially have a fluffy, porous and airy crumb. We leave deep parallel cuts on top - we do not touch the lower part, we need a solid base so that the buns do not fall apart. For example, with a sharp knife we ​​cut lines diagonally, across or along.

Step 3 - In a bowl, stir the vegetable oil with a pinch of salt and ground hot pepper.

Step 4 - Squeeze through a press or chop finely and finely a few garlic cloves, throw in a chopped bunch of greens. Trying what is missing - adding.

Step 5 - Slightly push apart the cuts in the rolls one by one and alternately fill with fragrant butter with herbs and garlic. We transfer the blanks to a baking sheet with parchment or into a reliable heat-resistant form. We send them to the oven (pre-heated) and dry for 10 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Step 6 - The finished baked goods will delight you with a crispy crust. Serve buns with garlic and herbs to the table. Simple, budgetary and tasty.
