Sponge roll with jam is a tasty, economical and quick baking. Such a roll is perfect for a family tea party or when guests come unexpectedly. You can cook it with absolutely any jam, as long as it is thick. These pastries are served chilled, sprinkled with powdered sugar and cut into portions. Soft, airy roll will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients:

Chicken egg - 5 pcs.

Sugar - 1 glass

Flour - 1 glass

Thick apple jam - 4 tablespoons

Step by step recipe:

1. Prepare the required set of ingredients. It is better to take jam with a little sourness, flour - sifted, and eggs - from the refrigerator. You will also need a 200 ml glass.

2. Break the eggs into a mixer bowl and add sugar.

3. Beat with a mixer until a fluffy, light mass is formed.

4. Pour in the sifted flour and mix again. It is better to sift the flour twice so that it is well saturated with oxygen.

5. The biscuit roll dough is ready. In consistency, it should resemble thick sour cream.

6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with parchment and pour out the dough. Smooth so that the cake is baked evenly. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If the finished cake is pierced with a match or a wooden skewer, then it will be dry.

7. Remove the hot cake from the oven and immediately spread with jam. If it cools down, it will start to break down and a beautiful roll will not work.

8. Carefully separate the cake from the paper and roll into a tight roll.

9. Let it cool slightly and soak.

10. Lush, soft and delicious biscuit roll with apple jam is ready. Serve it with a cup of aromatic tea or milk.
