This hot appetizer has long gained incredible popularity in many families. It is not even surprising, because it turns out to be very tasty, and it literally takes a few minutes to cook. Of course, pita bread with herbs and cheese is the most incredible in taste if you cook it on the grill, but when this is not possible or in the cold season, you can use a regular or grill pan, oven.

Ingredients:

Lavash sheet - 320 g

Hard cheese - 200 g

Dill - 1 bunch

Garlic - 1 clove

How to cook:

1. We will prepare all the products on the list necessary for cooking pita bread with cheese and herbs. Take cheese of high quality, which melts well and stretches hot. From greens, dill is best suited here, but I also really like cilantro. You can also add a few feathers of green onions, it also turns out very tasty with it. Wash the dill under running water and dry thoroughly.

2. Grate the delicious hard cheese on a coarse grater and place it in a convenient deep bowl.

3. Chop the dill coarsely with a sharp knife, add it to the grated cheese. Next, send the garlic passed through a press to a bowl. Stir the filling well.

4. My lavash is long enough, I cut it into three parts. Place one sheet of pita bread on a comfortable, level surface such as a cutting board or countertop. Put 2 tablespoons of the previously prepared cheese filling with herbs and garlic on top.

5. Wrap pita bread in any way convenient for you, I like it - in the form of an envelope. Do the same with the rest of the ingredients.

6. Heat the grill pan, if you are not afraid of extra calories, you can grease it with butter or olive oil. Lay out pita bread envelopes with cheese and herbs, fry them for two minutes on each side. Too dry, I think, is not worth it, although this is a matter of taste. To make them cook a little faster, you can install any press on top.

Serve the prepared fried pita bread hot, that is, immediately after cooking. This is a great independent snack, but they go perfectly with the kebab.
