The word "donut" means a round, sweet, fried pie. Donuts are very similar to donuts, but differ in that they can be prepared from different doughs, with or without filling. Today I will tell you how to cook them with yeast. An elementary set of products is required. Donuts according to this recipe are soft, fluffy and very tasty. Try it!

Ingredients:

Milk - 250 ml.

Dry yeast - 1 tsp

Sugar - 3 tablespoons

Butter - 50 g.

Chicken egg (yolk) - 2 pcs.

Flour - 450 g.

Vegetable oil for deep fat - 300 ml.

Powdered sugar - for serving

Step by step recipe:

1. For fluffy yeast donuts, prepare food. Heat the milk until warm, sift the flour several times through a fine sieve. Melt the butter in a microwave or water bath and let cool. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. We only need the yolks, beat them with a fork until smooth.

2. Take one glass from the total amount of flour and sift it into a bowl. Add sugar and yeast. Stir dry ingredients.

3. Pour in milk and stir again. Wrap the bowl tightly with cling film and let sit for 30 minutes. For the approach of the dough, choose a warm place without draft.

4. After the expiration of the time, the dough should rise well and increase in volume. If this does not happen, you need to start all over again. Most likely, the reason for the failure is poor quality yeast. If the dough is not redone, we will not get a good dough. If everything goes according to plan and the yeast is "alive" - ​​continue cooking.

5. Add egg yolks and butter to the dough.

6. Stir and add the remaining flour in portions.

7. Knead the yeast dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands, but at the same time, try not to overdo it with flour. The dough should be soft, but not hammered. Put it in a bowl, cover with a towel and leave it warm for 1.5 hours.

8. The finished dough should rise well.

9. For convenience, divide it into 3 parts. Roll each of them into a layer 1.5 centimeters thick.

10. Using a glass or a special shape, cut out the circles of the desired diameter. In the center of each circle, make another circle, but with a smaller diameter. You can use a small glass or pastry syringe attachment.

11. Cover the pieces with a towel to keep them dry and let sit for 20 minutes.

12. Heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan and fry the blanks on both sides until golden brown. If you have deep fat, use it. Donuts are fried very quickly, literally 1 minute on each side.

13. Put the finished treat on a paper towel so that the excess oil is absorbed.

14. Delicious, fluffy yeast donuts are ready.

15. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving and serve warm. A cup of aromatic tea will come in handy!
