I love homemade cakes and I think when the house smells of buns and pies, it becomes really cozy. I try to spoil my family with a variety of goodies often. Today I want to share one of my favorite recipes with you. This is a cheese bun recipe. They turn out to be soft and airy, and the cheese gives the dough a certain piquancy. They are prepared simply, from affordable and not very expensive products. Therefore, if you want to please your family, I recommend trying it!

Ingredients:

Milk - 200 ml. (+1 tbsp for greasing buns)

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 0.5 tsp

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Dry yeast - 1 tsp

Wheat flour - 350 g

Hard cheese - 70 g.

To prepare cheese buns, we will prepare products according to the list for the recipe. Sift the flour through a fine sieve several times.

We will select hard cheese of high quality and proven manufacturer. A cheese product will not work for this recipe.

Pour warm milk into a bowl, convenient for kneading. Add sugar and dry yeast, stir thoroughly so that some of the crystals have time to dissolve. Let's set the dough aside and let it brew for 15 minutes.

At the end of the time, the yeast should start / revive. What does it mean? If there are high-quality ingredients and we did everything according to technology, then a foam cap will appear on the surface. This is a sign that you can continue the work you have started. If not, we prepare the dough again, otherwise fluffy buns will not work.

Break the chicken egg into a bowl, add vegetable oil and salt. Stir thoroughly with a whisk.

Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater, add most of it to the dough, and leave the rest for sprinkling on baked goods.

Add the sifted wheat flour in parts and knead the dough.

It should be soft and elastic, but not sticky. Roll a bun off the dough and put it in a bowl, previously greased with vegetable oil.

Cover the bowl with a towel and leave it warm for 1.5 hours.

During this time, the dough will noticeably grow and increase in volume.

Let's divide it into 13-14 equal parts. Roll small balls from the pieces of dough and put them in a mold covered with parchment or oiled. Cover with a towel and leave for another 15 minutes.

Then grease the blanks with milk and grind with the remaining cheese.

We bake cheese buns in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until a beautiful ruddy color.
