The most favorite family holidays - New Year and Christmas - are just around the corner, and how can you do without baked meat on the festive table? Today we will cook chicken with apples in the oven - one of the most delicious poultry recipes.
It is easy to prepare and marinate chicken, but to bake it beautiful and ruddy is a matter of technique and small secrets that I will tell you today. Prepare without fail, such a dish will decorate any festive table, not necessarily New Year's or Christmas.
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1200 g
Apples - 2 pcs.
Lean oil - 1 tbsp.
White wine vinegar - 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
Sea salt - to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Granulated garlic - 1 tsp
Seasoning for chicken - 1 tsp
How to cook:
Let's prepare products according to the list. The chicken must be thoroughly washed outside and inside under running water, cut off the fat in the abdomen, and if necessary, tar the remaining feathers over the burner. Wash and dry the apples.
Pour refined lean oil, white wine vinegar, soy sauce into a deep bowl. Add salt, ground black pepper, granulated garlic, turmeric and chicken seasoning.
Mix the marinade thoroughly until smooth.
We put our chicken in it and rub it well on all sides. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. All this time the bird needs to be turned over.
At this time, while cutting the apples into quarters or less, remove the seeds. Stuff the chicken belly with apple slices.
Put the remaining apple slices on the bottom of the form in which you plan to bake the chicken. This will prevent the chicken skin from sticking to the container, and the poultry will not lie in its own fat released during baking.
Put the stuffed chicken on top of the apples. We fasten the abdomen with a toothpick or a bamboo skewer, the legs can be tied with natural twine.
We send the chicken to an oven preheated to 180 degrees in the top and bottom heating mode for 80 - 90 minutes - depending on your technique. From time to time we check it so that the skin does not burn, because there was soy sauce in the marinade.
First of all, cover the wings with foil - this is a must. Further, if any area on the bird's carcass begins to brown, cover it with foil as well.
After a while, pierce the thigh or breast with a fork, if absolutely clear and transparent juice comes out of them, the chicken is ready.
Serve the prepared appetizing and ruddy chicken stuffed with apples in the same form in which it was baked. If too much fat has formed in it, it can be drained.
