This recipe for making mullet began to gain popularity not so long ago. It is even easier to bake it in the oven than to fry it in a pan. But the value of this recipe is not at all in this, but in the fact that the strong smell of fried fish does not apply to the whole apartment and then it does not need to be eroded for a long time. The fish turns out to be as tasty, juicy and tender as fried, even a crispy crust will be present. And due to fresh aromatic herbs, it also turns out to be very aromatic. Be sure to cook, it's delicious.

Ingredients:

Mullet - 400 g

Green onions - 2 pcs.

Dill - 3 branches

Sea salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Thyme - 3 branches

Lean oil - 1 tablespoon

Seasoning for fish - 1 tsp

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Lemon (or lime) - for serving

To prepare the mullet baked in the oven, we will prepare the products according to the list. Take a small fish for baking, 150 grams each. This is the most delicious mullet. Onions need to be peeled, washed along with thyme, green onions and dill.

Mullet needs to be cleaned of scales, carefully remove the insides, being careful not to crush the bile. Wash the inside of the abdomen thoroughly, remove the black film from it. And don't forget about the gills - we will definitely remove them.

Then we salt each carcass, pepper to taste, sprinkle with seasoning for fish. Put a sprig of dill, thyme, green onion feather in the belly.

Cover the baking sheet with cling foil, grease it with a little vegetable oil. Lay out a thin layer of onions, cut into rings or half rings, to prevent the fish from sticking to the foil.

Put the mullet on top of the onion, sprinkle it with oil a little. Send the fish to the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes, at the end you can turn on the convection so that it is slightly browned and becomes crispy.

Ready-made baked mullet is served either as an independent dish, or with mashed potatoes.

Serve the fish with a few slices of lemon or lime. Drizzle with any of these citrus fruits on top and enjoy. You don't even need bread, yummy!
