A delicious meat dish with a side dish is ideal for both lunch and dinner, such as chops with potatoes in the oven. Cooking does not require additional effort from you, you just need to prepare meat and vegetables, putting them in a mold, and then in the oven, and in 30-40 minutes get a tasty and appetizing dish for the whole families. By the way, this option can also be offered for the festive table, preparing a little more chops.

Ingredients:

Pork tenderloin - 400 g

Potatoes - 7 pcs.

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt and pepper to taste

Water - 100 ml

Prepare food. Purchase pork tenderloin without any blue veins or veins so you don't have to cut them out. The presence of a small greasy layer on the meat is permissible - the chops will turn out to be juicy, not dry in taste. Be sure to sniff the meat before purchasing, feel free to view it from all angles.

Peel the potato tubers, rinse them under running water and cut them in half vertically. Cut into wedges or slices and place in a deep bowl.

Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper, stir. Sliced ​​potatoes will be a cushion for the meat.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the potato slices in it. In no case, do not lay it out the other way around, as the pork will burn and the potatoes will not bake. The vegetable layer should always be on the bottom so that it absorbs the juice produced by the meat.

Rinse the pork tenderloin and cut into slices no more than 1 cm wide. For better slicing, the meat can be slightly frozen in the freezer, for example, for about 5-10 minutes.

Place each one at a time in a bag or cover with cling film, beat off with a culinary hammer on both sides - so there will be no splashes around.

Place the chops on a platter and season with salt and pepper on both sides. If desired, you can sprinkle the meat with soy sauce or coat with store-bought mustard before adding the spices.

Cover the slices of pork over the sliced ​​potatoes and pour in warm water on the side. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the mold with the workpiece in it. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until the meat is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.

Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Serve with a couple of pork chops in bowls along with a potato side dish. Decorate with fresh herbs, complement with various sauces, ketchup, sour cream, etc.
